Welcome to the new 503rd MP Company FORUM! This is an expansion of the recently launched website to reunite alumni of the Fight'n 503rd MP Company. Feel free to post your thoughts/comments here - start new threads, topics, discussion areas, etc.

Any questions or comments? Email admin@503rdmpcompany.com and I'll see what I can do to make this what you want it to be.

Great job Smitty, I can't hardly wait for the reunion.. It will be great to see my BROTHERS once again. Already told my wife that I was coming, with or without her.

Just signed on!
Was with the 503rd. 65-66 at Drake kaserne. Had a great time. Was there during operation Silver Talon. Gen. Kerwin was the main man at that time. Had an apt. in Frankfurt on Hamburger Allee #37. Just came across this forum. Hope to find some old friends.

Someone posted photos of Drake Kaserne, but I'm getting old and can't seem to find them again. Great shots of front gate and watering hole down the strasse. Want to show them to my daughter, whether she wants to see them or not.
Thanks,

Was a Sgt E-5 stationed with 3rd Platoon in Friedberg from October 68 to January 70.  Great time in my life and would love to hear from some of the guys.  I have sent photos to be uploaded but they are not posted yet.  Hope to hear from some.

Woodrum,This is Skyraider,Looks like we are the only 2 that checks in and attempts to find fellow MP's from the past.I was excited about finding this site, but there is not much traffic on it.I was also a Sgt.E-5 with the 3d Plt.Friedberg 1983-85 and also I feel that was a great time of my life.I have had e-mail contact with a couple of old friends from the 503d,got to travel and meet one of them,we had a great reunion, shared pictures, remembered events that will remain with us for life.I got excited to here about a possible 503rd reunion in 2010,hope it works out and other members find this web site.Well must go for now, talk later.Skyraider Out.

Skyraider:
I agree that this is a excellent site for former 503rd MP's. I hope other find, join and commit to a reunion. I have ask that other categories be added related to specfic platoons. I spent most of my time with the 3rd platoon except for the 8 weeks of NCO Academy at the "ROCK" (Kirk Goins ???). Thanks for the reply.

I am having a problem getting someone to create a few new categories for the forum.  This is probably my low computer intelligence but ........
Thanks

Jim,

My most sincere apologies! I have been remiss at maintaining this puppy - I couldn't get any traffic and now that I finally got some I missed it!!!
LOVED your photo you posted! I have lots more to post when I drag my butt out to the garage to dig them out. I was stationed in Frankfuer @ Drake KSN (5th PLT), then several years later (after 3AD was no more) I was stationed in Giessen with duty at the Giessen Army Depot, Ayers KSN (The Rock - Kirch-Goens) and Ray Barracks in FBG. It was mixed feelings as I recalled the days of the 503rd when I was up there for my last tour (97-2000) and when I did go down to Frankfurt on occasion I always took a sentimental journy back home to Drake/Edwards......sad. Some of those pix are posted on my main website (www.spearheadsfinest.com) under the PHOTOS section (look for the links on the right border).
Email me: robert@503rdmpcompany.com and let me know what you'd like published and where (photos, new forum threads, etc.) and I promise I will get around to it.  Still working a full-time gig @ the VA (What better 2nd career for a retred MP?) as a Detectve, so I tend to let my passion projects slide from time to time.
Thanks for coming in and getting things moving!!

Smitty Out

Take a look in the BOLO/ATL area - each platoon is represented there, so you might have luck wrangling people in by their specific platoon!!
